These 50'-7" box cars were built by FMC-GBEC (Lot 17135) as above. They featured double 8' Youngstown plug doors, Hydra-Cushion underframes and 5243 ft3 capacity.

A group of 200 of these cars were rebuilt by Gunderson in 1-6/1990 as single door cars and renumbered CRLE as above, but they were NOT part of the Golden West Service program. They came to the KCS in 2001.
