These 60'-8" box cars were built by FMC-GBEC (Lot 13862) as above. They featured 10' Youngstown sliding doors, Hydra Cushion underframes, Damage Free loaders and 6445 ft3 capacity. Some of these cars were rebuilt and renumbered as B-70-29R class cars in 1979-1981.

The SSW cars appear to be the first cars built by FMC-GBEC after the purchase of GBEC by FMC in August 1965.
