SP Yard Slugs page
This page is dedicated to SP's fleet of Yard Slugs.
Original orders:
The SP purchased 4 slugs converted by GE Apparatus Service Shops at Minneapolis, MN from former L&N switchers in 1979. They were initially paired with MP15AC units but later were used with SW1500's as well. They were only known to have operated at Eugene, Roseville and Tuscon yards.
