This loco was built in x/1972 with GE construction number 38336. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on the front end and a single sealed beam headlight on the rear.
She was reportedly the very last U33C to operate for the SP, being retired at Houston, TX on 11/23/88.
