SP 7508

This loco was built in 3/1963 with GE construction number 34700. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on the front and a standard dual sealed beam headlight on the rear.
She was assigned number SP 6708 in the 1965 system renumbering.
GRIP'd to SP 6800 and painted in Bicentennial paint on 09/29/1975. At some point, she was repainted into the standard grey and red "bloody nose" scheme. She was re#'d to SP 3100 in 06/1979. I am not sure which came first or if they were done at the same time.
She was donated to the Orange Empire Railway Museum and is currently operational.
See the museum's page for the locomotive.
