This loco was built in 4/1964 with GE construction number 34959 as SP 7565. She was renumbered SP 6765 in the 1965 system renumbering. She was later rebuilt by SP on 05/29/1981 as a Tractive Effort Booster Unit.

She is xxx TEBU unit known to have been repainted into the speed lettering scheme of the merged SP/D&RGW.
