This loco was built on 4/1941 with EMD construction number 1316.
She was retired on 06/03/1970 and sold on 08/03/1970 to GE via Precision National Corp. She was resold in 04/1971 to Darby Corp, Kansas City where she was rebuilt as a yard slug as KCS 204. She was later renumbered to KCS 4254.
