SP 5444

This loco was built in 5/1955 with EMD construction number 20222. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time "black widow" colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.

She was assigned number SP 3922 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 4402 on 7/28/1975.
