This loco was built in 6/1994 with EMD serial number 936438-9. She was built as a freight engine, model SD70M. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors with SP speed lettering and a North American cab. Her headlight arrangement was a single sealed beam headlight each end and ditch lights along the front anticlimber only.
