SP 9212

This loco was built in 4/1972 with EMD serial number 72601-4. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on the front end. The rear featured xxxx.
She was rebuilt and renumbered to SP 6794 as part of the SP's GRIP program on 01/16/1987.
She was one of quite a few SP/SSW SD45T-2's known to have been repainted into the speed lettering scheme of the merged SP/D&RGW.
She was retired by the SP on x/19xx and sold to xxxx, becoming DMIR (SD40-3) #419 on xx/xx/19xx.
