SP 8800

This loco was built in 8/1966 with EMD construction number 7887-1.

She was rebuilt and renumbered to SP 7457 as part of the SP's GRIP program on xx/xx/1982. The most visible external change was the addition of a full set of Gyralight to the rear of the unit.

She was repainted into "kodachrome" colors as part of the attempted SPSF merger several years after having been rebuilt.

After retirement by the UP, she was donated to the Utah State Railroad Museum.
