This loco was built in 12/1978 with EMD serial number 786174-32.
She was repainted into the ill-fated "kodachrome" paint scheme of the intended SPSF railroad.
She was repainted into the "Speed Lettering" paint scheme at a point after the SP was bought by Rio Grande Industries in October 1988.
