SP 8247
This loco was built in 4/1980 with EMD construction number 786265-18. She is one of eleven SP SD40T-2's to be repainted at Roseville shops post UP takeover of the SP in a simplified version of SP colors with initials only on the long hood, white frame stripe and lacking wings on the nose, but definitely in grey and red "bloody nose" paint. They have come to be known as the "Roseville Eleven."
