This loco was built in x/1968 with EMD construction number 7083-1.

She was rebuilt and renumbered to SP 7347 as part of the SP's GRIP program on 01/27/1981. The most visible external change was the addition of a full set of Gyralight to the rear of the unit.

She was repainted in a special scheme to honor the Olympic Games held in Los Angeles, CA in 1984. She was repainted into the standard bloody nose freight scheme and wrecked shortly thereafter in an accident while off line on the BN. The damage was too severe to save the unit and she was sadly retired and scrapped. Due to the short amount of time between being repainted and the wreck, photos of her in bloody nose paint are rare.
