SP 2972
This loco was built in 4/1973 with EMD construction number 72681-2. She was built as a heavy switch engine for use at the newly built West Colton, CA hump yard. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured few of the extras SP specified for road units, most noticably, SP style light packages.
