This loco was built in 2/1965 with EMD construction number 29854. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on the front end. The rear featured a dual sealed beam light only.
She was assigned number SP 6924 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She was renumbered to SP 3107 on 9/28/1980 and assigned to work the West Colton, CA hump yard.
She was retired on 11/12/1991, sold 04/12/1993 to Levin Metals of Richmond, CA and scrapped.
