She was delivered and setup as (first) SP 1362, but renumbered as T&NO 34 at Houston, TX in 6/1943 prior to entering service for the Pacific Lines. Another locomotive became (second) SP 1362 (ALCO 69804.)
She was assigned number SP 1723 in the 1965 system renumbering.
