This loco was built in 10/1952 with ALCO construction number 80223.

She was ordered as SSW 361, but her number was changed before it could be applied at the factory.

She was renumbered to SSW 2803 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She was retired and sold on 02/24/1969 to EMD for scrap.
