SP 5918
This cabless booster loco was built in 9/1950 with ALCO-GE construction number 78219. She was painted in the SP's Daylight orange and red as a passenger engine.
At some point in the late 1950's or possibly early 1960's she was repainted into the newly adopted grey and red "bloody nose" scheme for all locomotives regardless of passenger or freight assignment.
She was retired on 01/26/1965 sold to ALCO, c/o Brazos Engineering, Houston, TX on 02/01/1965 for scrap.
