This loco was built in 6/1949 with EMD serial number 7314.
She was assigned number SP 1951 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 1335 on 09/14/1972.
She was retired 02/05/1986 and sold 10/15/1987 to Levin-Richmond Terminal Railway as their engine #1402.
She was donated to the Pacific Locomotive Association at Niles, CA and is restored to operation in her original appearance at the Niles Canyon Railroad Museum.
