SP 4813

This loco was built in 3/1954 with FM construction number 12-L-790. She was built with a steam generator. She was originally slated to be NYC 4603, but along with others, was rejected by the New York Central.
She was renumbered SP 3033 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She was selected to be converted to brake sled SPMW 9103 for use at the West Colton, CA hump yard in southern California and sent to Sacramento Shops for the work to be done. However, the program was cancelled and she sat at the shops until being sold to Associated Metals in 9/1978 for scrap. Sadly she was not retained for the adjacent California State Railway Museum.
