T&NO 456

This loco was built in 2/1959 with EMD builder's number 25152. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in newly standard grey and red or "bloody nose" colors and featured a single dual sealed beam headlight on each end.

She was assigned number SP 3660 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3859 in 1/1978. She is one of the few former T&NO GP9's to receive a full SP style headlight package upon rebuild.
