T&NO 451

This loco was built in 2/1959 with EMD builder's number 25147. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in the newly standard grey and red or "bloody nose" colors and featured a single dual sealed beam headlight on each end.
She was assigned number SP 3655 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3846 in 4/1977.
Around 1985, she was repainted into the "Kodachrome" paint scheme.
As can be see by the above photo, this is unit, despite having been built as a T&NO unit without a gyralight package, was rebuilt with a full set of lights on the front and probably on the rear as well judging from the photo below. It appears that the rear gyralight and UDE light were removed prior to late 1986.
