T&NO 450

This loco was built in 2/1959 with EMD builder's number 25146. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in newly standard grey and red or "bloody nose" colors and featured a single dual sealed beam headlight on each end.

She was assigned number SP 3654 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3840 in 12/1976. She appears to have been one of the few former T&NO GP9's to receive a full SP style headlight package upon rebuild.
