T&NO 448

This loco was built in 12/1956 with EMD builder's number 22902. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured a single dual sealed beam headlight on each end.
She was assigned number SP 3570 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3794 in 11/1976. She was one of only a handfull of ex T&NO GP9's that were upgraded to a full set of gyralights at GRIP, however, photos indicate that this was only done on the front end of the locomotive.
