This loco was built in 5/1954 with EMD builder's number 19464. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured a single dual sealed beam headlight on each end.
She was assigned number SP 3403 in the 1965 system renumbering.
It appears as though this unit never went through the GRIP Program.
