SP 5881

This loco was built in 4/1959 with EMD construction number 25640. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in newly adopted grey and red bloody nose scheme and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end. She featured a low front hood.

She was assigned number SP 3717 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She was not rebuilt as part of the GRIP program.

She was renumbered into a switcher series as SP 2891 on 10/27/1978.
