SP 9600

This loco was built in 12/1987 with EMD serial number 866185-1. She was built as a freight unit, however, this is the first group of EMD road units delivred without the standard SP gyralight package. She featured nose mounted sealed beam headlights without the familiar three light cluster which normally included a read UDE light. She was painted in standard SP grey and red with standard lettering.
