SP 7294
This loco was built in 1/1967 with EMD frame number 7944-8 as SAL 637. She was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen to DASH-2 specifications and numbered SP 7294.
She was wrecked early in her career as an SP unit in June 1991 at Proctor, AR and replaced with the former L&N 3015 which was built with EMD frame number 7075-6. SP 7294 1st was delivered in standard Southern Pacific lettering while her replacement was delivered wearing SP Speed lettering.
