SP 7672
This loco was built in 3/1980 with EMD construction number 786266-15 She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured large front plow, anticlimber, cab-roof air conditioner and a full 5 light headlight arrangement on both the front and rear end.
She was painted in kodachrome paint of the intended SPSF railroad, the only SP GP40-2 treated as such. At some point prior to October 1989 (as per published photos) she had been repainted back into standard SP grey and red paint.
