SP 7455

This loco was built in 2/1964 with EMD construction number 28882. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on the front end. The rear featured a dual sealed beam light only.
She was assigned number SP 6567 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 6357 in 12/19/1979. She was rebuilt by outside contractor Canadian National shops at Pointe Ste. Charles Shops in Montreal. She retained her turbocharger, and received a full 5-light rear gyralight package.
She suffered an electrical fire on March 6, 1990 and was retired on February 8, 1992. She was sold in 1995 to Omni-Trax at Loveland, CO and was scrapped sometime after March 2000.
