SP 7404

This loco was built in 3/1963 with EMD construction number 28186. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.

She was assigned number SP 5014 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She is reported to have been involved in a serious wreck around 1972 and subsequently sold to GE. A photo below is from that year in Houston, which leads us to believe that the photo, despite a lack of number, is of this unit before being sent to GE.
