This loco was built in 2/1962 with EMD serial number 27098. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP20. She was painted in standard for the time bloody nose colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.

She was assigned number SP 4061 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 4114 on 05/13/1977.

She was retired on 02/20/1987 and went to Southwest Railroad Car Parts on 10/15/1987 and was scrapped.
