This loco was built in 05/1953 with EMD construction number 18373. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was transferred to the SP and renumbered SP 6464 on 08/18/1960.
She was retired on 11/26/1968 and sold to EMD on 12/09/1968.
