T&NO 379
This loco was built in 05/1953 with EMD construction number 18372. She was built as a 1500 hp F7 A unit. She was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was retired on 07/07/1969 and sold to GE on 07/14/1969.
She was sold in 11/1969 to Wellsville, Addison & Galeton as their engine #2400, but reportedly never physically applied.
She was transferred in 1974 to WAG sister road Louisiana & North West as their engine #48 and used for many years in north Louisiana and south Arkansas.
She went to Waccamaw Coast Line (WCLR) as their engine #48. She has since been scrapped.
