This loco was built in 07/1953 with EMD construction number 18367. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was wrecked on the Cotton Belt at Chandler, TX on 11/23/1962 and scrapped on the Cotton Belt on 04/18/1963.
