This loco was built in 06/1953 with EMD construction number 18359. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was transferred to the SP and renumbered SP 6468 on 12/03/1960.
She was retired on 04/07/1969 and sold to EMD on 05/09/1969.
