This loco was built in 05/1953 with EMD construction number 18357. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was transferred to the SP and renumbered SP 6463 on 08/20/1960.
She was retired on 12/31/1969 and sold to EMD on 01/07/1970.
