This loco was built in 12/1952 with EMD construction number 17214. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was retired on 09/24/1969 and sold to GE (via Chrome Crankshaft) on 09/24/1969.
