This loco was built in 12/1952 with EMD construction number 17212. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was transferred to the SP and renumbered as SP 6466 in 08/1960.
She was retired on 04/11/1967 and sold to EMD on 05/03/1967.
