This loco was built in 09/1951 with EMD construction number 12819. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was transferred to the Pacific Lines as SP 6432 on 01/07/1953.
She was retired on 11/24/1972 and sold to Schnitzer Steel of Oakland, CA on 08/09/1973.
She has the distinction of being the very last active SP freight A unit.
