This loco was built in 09/1951 with EMD construction number 12815. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was transferred to the Pacific Lines as SP 6428 on 12/17/1952.
She was damaged by fire at Enid, AZ on 07/01/1960, retired on 07/02/1960 and scrapped at Los Angeles, CA General Shops on 09/14/1960.
