This loco was built in 09/1951 with EMD construction number 12812. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was transferred to the Pacific Lines as SP 6425 on 12/07/1952.
She was retired on 09/26/1966 and sold to EMD on 10/05/1966.
