This loco was built in 03/1953 with EMD construction number 18152. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 B-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was wrecked 04/1969, retired on 06/10/1969 and sold to GE on 07/03/1969. She was resold by GE to Missouri Kansas Texas railroad (MKT) for trade in credit to EMD.
