SP 6460

This loco was built in 03/1953 with EMD construction number 18144. It was built as a 1500 hp FP7 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.

She was retired on 12/09/1971 and sold to EMD on 07/14/1972 although, she was still on the property at Taylor yard in Los Angeles, CA by August 1972 as can be seen in the above photo by Henry O'Connor.
