This loco was built in 03/1953 with EMD serial number 18142. She was built as a 1500 hp FP7 A-unit. She was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was sold to Amtrak 5/1973 and renumbered AMTK 121.
She was sold 5/1976 to EMD and scrapped by Pielet Brothers at LaGrange, IL.
