This loco was built in 02/1953 with EMD construction number 18138. It was built as a 1500 hp FP7 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.

She was sold to Amtrak 05/1973. Renumbered AMTK 117. Renumbered to AMTK 377 in 04/1976.

Sold 10/1976 to Precision National Corp. for scrap.
