This loco was built in 02/1953 with EMD construction number 18137. It was built as a 1500 hp FP7 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was sold to Amtrak 05/1973. Renumbered AMTK 116. Renumbered to AMTK 376 in 04/1976 and again to AMTK 493 in 1977.
Sold 05/1980 to Precision National Corp.
