SP 6380
This loco was built in 07/1952 with EMD construction number 16561. She was built as a 1500 hp F7 A-unit. She was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was retired on 06/10/1968 and sold to GE on 06/21/1968.
She was sold in 07/1968 to Wellsville, Addison & Galeton as their engine #2000, entering service on 11/19/1968.
She was transferred in 6/1969 to WAG sister road Louisiana & North West as their engine #45 and used for many years in north Louisiana and south Arkansas.
In 2000, she was bought and moved to the Golden Gate Railroad Museum in San Francisco for preservation.
