This loco was built in 10/1950 with EMD construction number 10608. It was built as a 1500 hp F7 A-unit. It was painted in the SP's standard for the time black widow colors.
She was retired on 09/23/1969 and sold to GE on 10/16/1969. GE later sold her to Chrome Crankshaft of Chicago in 04/1970.
